Brezel Croissant with Strawberries and Cherries

Ingredients
  • 2fresh (prezel) croissants
  • 6tbsp Curd Cheeseor cream cheese
  • 3tbsp maple syrupor honey
  • 1tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2tsp vanilla extract
  • 1cup fresh strawberries
  • 1/2cup fresh cherries
Instructions
  1. Wash the strawberries and remove the green. Cut into slices. Wash and halve the cherries and remove the stone. Mix the fruits together with 1 tablespoon maple syrup and lemon juice in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the curd cheese with 1 tablespoon maple syrup and the vanilla. Add 1-2 tbsp. water to make it creamier if you want.
  3. Cut the croissants in half and spread 3 tablespoons of the curd cream on each bottom half. Top with the fruits. Cover with the upper part of the croissant and enjoy immediately.
  4. TIP: If you like, you can spread some maple syrup or honey on the top half of the croissant. Tastes very delicious 🙂
