This mind-blowing chocolate tahini tart melts on the tongue! It is made from only 6 ingredients, is ready in less than 15 minutes, incredibly smooth and loaded with chocolate.
It is a DREAM COME TRUE. This chocolate tahini tart is not only the chocolate heaven on earth, but also super easy and quick to make.
This ist why you will LOVE this recipe:
- You only need 6 (!!) ingredients
- It is rich and loaded with all the good chocolate flavor
- It is made in no time and therefore and ideal dessert for guests (those lucky ones)
- You can easily make this recipe vegan (use vegan chocolate and vegan graham crackers)
- It is dairy free (when using vegan chocolate) and without refined sugar
I have to admit that the calorie content of this MIND-BLOWING chocolate tahini tart cannot be compared to that of a bowl of salad. BUT that’s not the requirement for a dessert anyways, right? 😉
This tart satisfies our sweet tooth in the most delicious, chocolatey way.
The oreo cookie crust
The crust consists of oreos, wholemeal butter biscuits (aka graham crackers) and coconut oil. I have mixed a large portion of wholemeal biscuits into the dough, so the chocolate tahin tart does not become too sweet. Personally, I like it much, like muuuch better when desserts don’t overflow with sugar.
You only need to finely grind the biscuits and the melted coconut oil in a mixer and then press them into the tart tin. It can happen that the mixture becomes very soft and does not stick to the edge of the mould. In this case, simply put the dough in the fridge for 10 minutes and then press it into the tart mould.
The chocolate tahini cream
This cream is simply AMAZING.
It is smooth, creamy, melts on the tongue and is looaaaded with chocolate.
The bitter taste of sesame mousse balances the sweetness of the chocolate and gives the cream a delicious, nutty note.
Love, love, LOVE.
Since this tart is all about chocolate, it is very important that you use a good quality. I like it best with 70% cocoa.
If you prefer it a little sweeter though, you can also use a chocolate with less cocoa or add 1-2 tablespoons of maple syrup to the cream.
Enjoy! 🙂

- For the crust, put all the ingredients in a food processor and mix until a fine, sand-like consistency is obtained. Press the dough firmly into the tart mould, also along the edge. Refrigerate while you prepare the cream.
- TIP: If the mixture is too "creamy", simply put it in the fridge for 10 minutes and then press it into the mould.
- For the chocolate filling, place chocolate and coconut milk in a saucepan and melt at medium heat. Stir with a whisk. When the chocolate is completely melted, remove the pot from the heat and stir in the tahini. Pour the cream into the tart. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or preferably overnight.
- Garnish with fruits and serve cold (!).
