These almond cacao bliss balls are perfect for the moment where you need a little boost of energy or when a sweet hunger overcomes you.

Put the oat flakes and almonds in a blender and pulse a few times until fine. Add the dates and pulse again until all the ingredients are fine like sand.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix until you have a dough that holds together well when you roll a ball. If necessary, add some water or maple syrup.
Form balls about 2.5 cm / 1 inch. Top the bliss balls with the melted chocolate (optional). Store in the refrigerator and eat them within 1-2 weeks.
