These almond cacao bliss balls are perfect for the moment where you need a little boost of energy or when a sweet hunger overcomes you.

  • 1/2cup rolled oats
  • 1/2cup almonds
  • 12pitted dates
  • 3tbsp cacao powdnerunsweetened
  • 1pinch of salt
  • 1/4cup almond butter
  • 4tbsp water
  • 4tbsp melted chocolateoptional for topping
  1. Put the oat flakes and almonds in a blender and pulse a few times until fine. Add the dates and pulse again until all the ingredients are fine like sand.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix until you have a dough that holds together well when you roll a ball. If necessary, add some water or maple syrup.
  3. Form balls about 2.5 cm / 1 inch. Top the bliss balls with the melted chocolate (optional). Store in the refrigerator and eat them within 1-2 weeks.
